Inventory Control Specialist with Forklift Experience - Direct Hire
Leading provider of supply chain solutions to the pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, and medical device industries seeks an experienced Inventory Control Specialist to perform daily inventory reconciliation, review weekly counts and consumptions, and oversee inventory control process improvements and root cause analysis at their Sparks, NV facility.
You will earn $18 - $24 an hour, depending on your experience, and work full-time, Monday – Friday from 7AM to 3:30PM, with some overtime available. On a day-to-day basis, the Inventory Specialist will complete inventory transactions in the system and:
- Verify transfer and shipment quantities.
- Coordinate the in/out flow of inventory materials with leads.
- Review interdepartmental transfer statuses, completions, and accuracy.
- Review shipments and materials received and verify counts are accurate.
- Develop and maintain Excel reports to track and report counts, reconciliation findings, weekly progression statuses and adjustments.
- Meet designated KPIs weekly, monthly, and quarterly according to company projected targets for inventory levels and stockouts.
To be considered for this Inventory Specialist position, you must have at least 2 years of previous experience in inventory control, including cycle counts, consumption counts, and quarterly and yearly inventory count control. You must also have:
- Computer literacy including knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Excel, and other systems.
- Experience with IFS/Savant/QuickBooks a plus.
- The ability to closely follow inventory best practices and SOPs.
- Strong mathematical skills.
- Forklift experience.
