Large industrial manufacturer in Fulton, IL seeks 5 Machine Operators / Punch Press Operators to run equipment and work on their production line. These openings are on the 3rd shift. At this facility you will enjoy free parking, an employee lunchroom, and PPE provided each shift.  

You will earn $15/hour, plus $22.50/hour overtime. These are temp-to-hire opportunities, if hired directly, you will enjoy several great benefits and growth potential as this company likes to promote from within.  

Punch Press Operators are responsible for:

• Following detailed instructions, loading, and operating press, using fixed gauge, and checking work to maintain tolerance.
• Detecting faulty operation of equipment or defective material and referring unusual conditions or operating difficulties to supervisor.
• Reading detailed routing sheet, filling out route cards, and being aware of next operation for each part.
• Preparing and cleaning work areas and applying oil to all pierced parts before putting them in press.
• Continuously operating machines working with light to average weight material.
• Quality control. 

To be considered, you must have only 3 months of production or manufacturing experience and be able to:

• Pass a drug screen. This is a drug free work environment.
• Consent to a background check. Prior convictions may not necessarily disqualify you from working for this company.
• Read blueprints and use gauges.
