Position Description and Qualifications
Under general supervision, performs semi-skilled maintenance and repair services of facility systems such as mechanical, electrical, and building systems. Duties may increase in scope as the employee becomes more skilled, but the primary emphasis is the performance of a variety of maintenance tasks rather than a high degree of skill in any particular trade.
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks on all equipment
- Repair electrical equipment, transformer, and wiring
- Repair pneumatic equipment, values, and cylinders
- Repair Hydraulic equipment, values, and cylinders
- Fabricate metal structures through cutting and welding
- Observe safety precautions, rules, and regulations
- Other duties as assigned
Over 3 months and up and including 12 months of maintenance tech experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
One year certificate from college or technical school
