Material Planner / Production Scheduler

Large manufacturing company seeks 3 Material Planners /Production Schedulers to schedule and release production orders to operations teams at their Fulton, IL facility. We have positions available on the day shift!

You’ll earn up to $21 an hour, depending on your experience, with overtime at up to $31.50 an hour! At this facility, you’ll enjoy free on-site parking, a personal locker, an employee lunchroom with a microwave, refrigerator and vending machines available for your use. PPE will be provided for you.

As a Material Planner / Scheduler, you will work together with product lines and component processes to resolve conflicts and constraints. You will also:

• Review ERP System messages and take appropriate action.
• Align work orders with the production schedule.
• Participate in the schedule attainment process.
• Perform capacity evaluations and leveling within guidelines.
• Support the operations team as an expert on inventory transactions.
• Act as a leader when supporting the physical inventory process.
• Participate in the quoting process by offering projected lead times.

To qualify, you must have at least 1 year of material planning and scheduling experience and:

• Have a High School Diploma or GED. An associate or bachelor’s degree in supply chain, marketing, business, engineering, or related fields is preferred.
• Be proficient in Microsoft Office and SAP.
• Be willing to consent to a drug screen. This is a drug-free workplace.
• Be willing to consent to a background check. Prior convictions may not necessarily disqualify you from working for this company.
