Senior Recruiter / Staffing Specialist – Chartwell Staffing Solutions, one of the top 10 privately-owned staffing agencies in the US, seeks an experienced Senior Recruiter/Staffing Specialist to work at our offices in Fairfield, CA.  We are looking for someone with a "can-do" attitude with excellent people skills. This is a full-time position where you will earn a competitive salary, based on your experience, plus commissions. You’ll also enjoy an excellent benefits package that includes health, dental, and vision insurance, and paid vacation time off. You will work Monday – Friday from 8AM – 5PM.

 

 As our Senior Staffing Specialist, you will be responsible for full cycle recruiting from interviewing and placing advertisements to conducting orientations, submitting background checks and drug tests.  You will also be expected to:

  • Manage the day-to-day interactions with assigned clients, including daily information flow, problem solving and process improvements.
  • Ensure orders are expedited to meet fulfillment standards, in a timely manner.
  • Consistently exceed client and talent expectations and stay ahead of the staffing industry by offering innovative, creative, and effective employment solutions.
  • Maintain accurate records using our proprietary application tracking system.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, FDA and other regulations.
  • Update clients open orders and progress daily until the positions are filled.

 

To be considered for this position, you must have at least 1-2 years of staffing and/or recruiting experience and:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Business Administration or similar field preferred.
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of sourcing, networking, qualifying, assessing, interviewing, relationship management, record maintenance and metric management required.
  • Strong computer skills including experience with Microsoft Office applications.
  • General knowledge and understanding of state and federal labor laws and regulations that impact human resources and employment.
  • Be willing to consent to a drug screen. This is a drug-free workplace.
  • Be willing to consent to a background check. Prior convictions may not necessarily disqualify you from working for this company.
  • Bilingual English / Spanish is a plus!
