Job Summary:

Performs a variety of warehouse and production functions, including order entry, and
shipping and receiving operations. Assists Quality Assurance and Office Administration as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Shipping and Receiving: (65%)
• Maintains shipping and receiving operations for Napa warehouses, utilizing UPS and
Federal Express software.
• Assists in ensuring all outgoing shipments of products meet company specifications.
• Receives, examines and logs in all incoming shipments within same business day including
notifying departments of received items.
• Determines shipping methods for all shipments using knowledge of shipping procedures,
routes, and rates.
• Compare quantity, item # and lot codes from finished goods to Sales order.
• Requisition and store shipping materials and supplies to maintain adequate inventory.
• Ability to be Forklift Certified.
• Operate Forklift for pull shipments.
• Responsible for securing freezers at end of day.
• Check roll up doors for secure latching and responsible for securing warehouse storage
room at end of day
• Maintains cleanliness and organization of the warehouse on a daily basis.

2. Inventory Functions: (25%)
• Accurately identifying and receiving cases of product into inventory locations.
• Accurately pick, pack, all orders.
• Moving and stacking cases/jars for the purpose of conducting physical inventory.
• Assist in physical inventories and cycle counting as directed.
• Punctual and consistently available for work.
• Various other duties, as assigned

3. Production Functions: (10%)
• Prepares production folders for each production run.
• Assists QA Manager as directed.
• Manages the cycle counting process to ensure inventory levels are accurate and within
acceptable min/max guidelines.

Additional Duties:
• Individually, and in conjunction with managers and staff, assures all safety criteria are met
or exceeded through regular observation and participation in safety meetings.
• Special projects as assigned.

Education/Experience: High School Diploma or higher. Two years of experience in Shipping /
Receiving, Customer or Food Service, or related field desired. Experience with Fedex and UPS
software is essential.

Skills: Team-oriented and independently motivated with demonstrated ability to provide
exceptional customer service. Excellent customer service, time management, and organizational
skills, with keen attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced office environment.
Must be flexible and willing to help out as needed. Good verbal and written communication skills
in English. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide, using whole numbers, common fractions,
and decimals. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

Knowledge: Intermediate Microsoft Office, Outlook, and basic overall computer skills. Navision
experience a plus.

Physical:  Ability to work at a computer for periods of time up to (8) hours. Ability to lift packages up to 35lbs, periodically. Personal appearance and high standards of hygiene at all times.

Other: Ability to interact in a professional office environment. Professional appearance and
high standards of personal hygiene at all times. The employee is
generally working in an office environment, and is occasionally exposed to extreme cold (nonweather). The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderately loud.
