Truck Driver with Class B CDL, Direct Hire

Truck Driver with Class B CDL, Direct Hire – Large distribution warehouse in Sparks, NV seeks an experienced Truck Driver with a Class B CDL to load, transport and deliver products to clients in the area. 

This is a full-time, direct hire position where you will earn $19 to $23 an hour, depending on your experience, and work Monday – Friday from 6am – 3pm, plus some overtime at up to $34.50 an hour. This position also offers a comprehensive benefits package including a 401(k) with up to 5% company match upon direct hire by the company!  

As a Box Truck Driver, you will be responsible for reviewing loading processes to ensure products and quantities are complete and accurate and:

• Setting the reefer unit on the truck to the correct temperature for each delivery.
• Abiding by all transportation laws and local driving restrictions.
• Maintaining a clean driving record.
• Working in the plant assisting, where needed, when the truck is not being prepped or in use for deliveries.

To qualify, you must have a valid Class B CDL, at least 1 year of experience driving a box truck, and be at least 21 years of age. In addition, you must:

• Have or able to pass a DOT Physical.
• Consent to a drug screen. This is a drug-free workplace.
• Have experience operating the lift gate on the truck.
• Have reliable transportation to get to work (location is not on the bus line).
• Have prior forklift and pallet jack operating experience.
• Consent to a criminal background check. Prior convictions may not necessarily disqualify you from working for this company.
• Consent to a 3-year motor vehicle history investigation.
• Be able to speak English and have basic math and computer skills.
